The Dolomitenbanditen hail from Lienz, Austria in the eastern region of Tirol and are performing in our Haus through the month of May. The Dolomite mountain range in Austria and Italy is very high and steep and their name is in reference to this area, so literally translated, thir title is, “Bandits of the Dolomites.” In their previous visits to Chicago they brought their Tirolean style of performance and have shown their versatility of styles from German-Austrian traditional to American rock and roll. They entertain audiences in a variety of ways, including making a garden hose sound like an alphorn! If you hear them late night you might hear their beautiful rendition of, I Am From Austria. What is really special is seeing how much fun these guys have performing together. Their fun is contagious making them very endearing to our audiences. Come out and hear these guys and you will come away with a very happy memory from your time with them.
